Masking Small Panel
While I'm waiting for the layers of the small studies to dry, I'm prepping the smallest of the two panels I'll be working on. I can start layering the gesso on these before the small study is complete. Being patient and waiting for lots of thin layers to dry reminds me of why I started making drawings instead.

First layer of gesso on a small scale test. I'm making a couple of paintings on wood panels that I need to know exactly how my materials are going to behave.
